In partnership with The Province of British Columbia – Ministry of Children & Family Development, and The Government of Canada, Westcoast Child Care Resource Centre (WCCRC) has established a Professional Development Bursary fund for early childhood educators and other child care providers in B.C.
Under this current agreement, the PD Bursary Fund will be available until March 2020. For more information on eligibility and funding guidelines visit our Q & A page.
Early Childhood Educators are responsible for choosing a variety of quality professional development opportunities to meet the provincial requirement of 40 hours of PD over the course of 5 years.
For more information on maintaining and renewing your ECE certification as well as information about the types of PD that may be accepted by the registry visit their website here.
