This Fund will operate until February 17, 2024.

Goals of the ECE Professional Development Bursary Fund

  • To build capacity in the field by reducing the financial barriers for early childhood educators and child care professionals in accessing high-quality training opportunities.
  • To improve access to on-going training for child care professionals who identify as First Nations, Métis or Inuit.
  • To improve access to on-going training for early childhood educators and child care providers living in rural and remote communities.

Non-profit publicly funded agencies may apply for bursary funds to offer professional development outside of their scheduled programming. These training experiences may be a community of practice, conference, networking event, retreat or on-site professional development support.

If your agency needs assistance with the application process please contact our Bursary Manager.
